| Detailed Description |
Grey wooly plant 1-5 ft. with sprays of minute white flowers at the top. Interesting & gawky as a single plant. In groups it is lace over the landscape & as the plants turn pink in the autumn the appearance is beguiling. This drought tolerant annual freely sows itself in sandy soils, but can be difficult to get started. Cold stratifying for 30-60 days may improve germination.  Zone 5
