Large shrub 4-6 ft. tall, often tree-like, can form thickets. Big compound leaves turn red for 2 months in fall. Terminal clusters of small white flowers become striking heads of red berries in fall. Attracts birds. Impressive ornamental. Fall sow or soak seed 8 hours in water, cold stratify 3 months & sow in spring.  Zone 4
