Thin leaf blades make a soft appearance if the grass is grown to its full height (3 ft.) and a fine-textured lawn if cut. Despite its name this grass is quite drought tolerant. If used as a lawn, water to help it show off. Spreads by underground roots. Seeding rate: 2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Reclamation: 15 lbs. per acre. C   Zone 2
