| Detailed Description |
Grows as low as 5,500 ft. in canyons, then in mixed conifer zone about 7,500 ft. & up to 10,500 ft. Thick limbs grow out in layers - silver blue in color & fragrant. Can be 80 ft. tall but often shorter in cultivation. Great numbers grown for Christmas trees. Fall sow or cold stratify 1 month.  Zone 3
