P2504 Penstemon ambiguus
Phlox or Sand Penstemon
Perfectly symmetrical 2 ft. bush, laiden with flowers in spring. Phlox-like flowers are white to pink. Needs sandy, well-drained soil. Unlike most penstemons, ambiguus does not need cold stratification. Extremely drought tolerant. Sow anytime. Germination is erratic and may be delayed by midsummer heat.
