A compact woody shrub 2 feet tall & 3 feet wide with delicate feathery leaves and tiny bicolored pea flowers - purple and yellow & fuzzy all at once. Grows in dry rocky or sandy soils from 3,000 to 7,000 feet. Very drought tolerant but water deeply occasionally if the rains don't come.
