Silver Buffaloberry
A silver-grey, deciduous shrub or small tree, 6-10 ft. Soft color makes a fine accent. Forms a hedge when closely planted. The female shrubs produce bright scarlet, glossy, berry-like fruits in profusion. Tart, mealy berries make good jelly. Attracts birds. Tough but water regularly for good growth. Sow seed in fall or cold stratify 2-3 months & sow in spring.
